Prize Money Of Winning Team: Prize money for winner of last Season 5th is 3 crore. Also the 1st or 2nd runner-ups will be awarded 1.8 crore or  1.2 crore respectively.

Participants – 12 Teams

Tournament Format – Double round robin and round robin or playoffs

 

Pro-Kabaddi’ Rules & Regulations

The Twelve teams are divided into 2 zones of 6 each. Each team plays a total of Twenty Two matches in the league stage:

1. Teams from the same zone play each other thrice and totalling Fifteen matches in the zone.

2. Then, a team will play an additional of six matches with the teams from the other zone. These six inter-zone matches for each team will be held on 3 different weeks. These weeks are known as inter-zone challenge weeks or the respective weeks are:

  1. August 15-August 20
    2. September 5-September 10
    3. September 26-October 1

3. Then, each team plays 1 wild card match which is an additional inter-zone match in the penultimate week and selected by a random mid-season draw and totalling Twenty-Two matches in the league stage and The top 3 teams from each zone qualify for the super playoffs or compete for the title.
